I already have PMI but I want to change companies!

Many of the private medical insurers now have the option to transfer to them from an existing provider, this is known as a switch facility. In most cases you will need to be fully underwritten when switching from one provider to another. Care needs to be taken here to ensure continuation of cover especially if there have been claims on the policy.
