Homeowners are still reminded that they face the risk of losing millions of pound as a result of damage caused by post-exam results parties that go wrong.
The warning from an insurance provider added that accidents resulting from celebrating exam results are most common during the month of August and increase home insurance claims immensely.
Meanwhile, the use of social network sites to advertise such parties further increases the risk and spikes the number of claims arising from damage to the home and contents.
Even as parents were advised to be very cautious in letting their homes to be used for parties, they were also told that making claims on their home insurance policy could lead to a rise in their premiums.
In a separate development, a survey by a home insurance company has found that people in a north London borough have a waiting period of about 40 years for an allotment.
The delay, it was claimed, is due to a rise in demand, as more than 80,000 people are waiting for a plot with a typical delay of three years.
